Ways to Induce Labor - Do They Really Work?

We are down to our last two weeks waiting for our lil man to join our family! Many of our friends have started to suggest different ways to help the labor process along with everything from foot massaging to eating olives.

So that got me searching for different methods that other pregnant women have tried during these last few weeks. Now I need YOUR HELP!

We personally have never tried anything and to be honest probably will not try anything crazy...I wouldn't mind eating a can of olives  or having Ted massage my feet!

Will those really work? I am not sure but maybe worth a try.

This is where YOU come in...This blog post is ALL ABOUT YOU commenting below and giving us your methods, what you have tried or even heard worked for a friend.
I am looking forward to seeing how many different ways we can come up with!

Thanks for sharing and helping us come up with several ways that may or may not work!

p.s. I did find a pretty good article I will share tomorrow but want to 1st give you the ability to share your stories and methods!

We tried EVERYTHING. Seriously... we did it all. In th end, I had to be induced. Long, bumpy fourwheeler rides, trips to Fairmont to go down the waterslide, and I walked, walked, walked my life away. The two weeks leading up to my induction I ate the same foods religiously: herb shakes for breakfast, fresh, cored pineapple for lunch, and eggplant parmesean for dinner. After 36 weeks Josh rubbed my feet and legs every single night (I think this one is ligitament.... both my massage therapist and my reiki guide refused to work on my feet while pregnant. They didnt want to be responsible for inducing early labor.) I pent many hours doing "the baby dance" (check out YouTube). I ate Evening primrose oil and red respberry leaf tea for the month leading up to AK's arrival. After being admitted.... and released... for the second time, I even tried castor oil. (I would NOT reccoment this!) And of course Josh "did his part" right up to an hour before they gave me the pitocin. In the end, Baby O'Shea came ... and all the tricks in the world had nothing to do with it!
