Can I Replace my Income?

YES!!!

Well the secret is out...and I just realized it myself as I sat down to prepare for our Team Training call last night!

Thanks to my Candle Business I have come very close to replacing my monthly salary I would be making as a teacher! Just shy by a few...not bad after only 4 years in the business!

This has always been my long term goal - My husband and I have always had the talk that when it came time for our youngest to be in school, we would re-evaluate my business and decide if I needed to go back to teaching full time...well kids we will not have to make that decision in two years as I have reached my goal this month!

I get excited to see what it will be like in 2 years... I can just picture it now - our family celebrating our freedom on a white sandy beach with the sun shining down on us as we play in the sand and enjoy our life!!! (for those of you know me most of my dreams include the beach!!! lol)

How did I do this?

I knew what I wanted my outcome to be, I took those goals and made them a reality by taking DAILY action steps to move my business forward.

There is no Secret plan, system or tricks...I just worked daily at staying positive, moving forward and doing what it took to make it happen! I believe in what we offer as a products and mostly as a business. When you have something that is simple yet dynamic it is easy to share!

The most important thing I DIDN'T QUIT!!!

Was it always easy? NO

Was I scared to do aspects that I had never done before? YES, but I stepped out of that comfort zone and did it!

Did I do everything right the first time, second time, or even the third... NO, but I stuck with it and was willing to learn, read, grow and become a better me so then I can in turn help others to be a better them!

This journey is not over, I am still in the learning process and encourage YOU to re-evaluate what you want...focus on the outcome not the current circumstances and take the actions steps needed to make it happen!

Of course I couldn't have done this without the support and friendship of those that I work with and my family! They were there to encourage, inspire, and even kick me in the butt when I needed a reality check - you know who you are and I am forever grateful to be on the journey with you!

What is YOUR Plan?

Do I have a plan? You Betcha, I do now!

People are always asking me the questions "How do you do it? " "How can you run a private preschool, get the house stuff done, run a successful business, and still have time to travel and enjoy life?" You must be Lucky?!

Friends, Luck has NOTHING to do with it and life doesn't happen by accident, LIFE IS PLANNED and LIFE is about DECISIONS!!!

The reason I am here doing this NOW, experiencing life today is because of the steps I took in the past. I decided many years ago what I wanted my life to be and I am doing what it takes to make that happen!

A friend just posted this on her Facebook status and it couldn't have come at a better time...

Taking steps (little or big) towards your goals and desires in life will take you far. Keep your Focus on the goal and why you want it....pursue with Prayer, Passion and Enthusiasm! In all things give Thanks! Ilonsa T.

I spent too many years just being comfortable with what life brought my way. I stopped seeing and going after the dreams God planted in my heart. I floated around in a big ocean without direction,letting the water take me farther out.

I knew in my heart I wanted more out of life, I just wasn't sure how to make it happen. I thought I was doing everything right...I would dream , pray and I even wish upon a star.I once thought it would be nice if my dream life would show up on the front door with a big red ribbon and a card attached that said "Welcome to your DREAM life Cheryl, Enjoy!".

After all this still nothing... Why?

I didn't have a PLAN...

Trust me I didn't always have my duck in a row, have such a clear vision and plan. I am still a work in progress and have ALOT to learn.

We all make decision on a daily basis some small, others life changing...but with those decision do you have a plan set in place to make them a reality? Do you believe that you are able to succeed? I know I didn't, but enjoy the outcome now that I do!


So you ask me, How can I do it? I choose EVERYDAY to have a clear vision, make a plan and take the steps needed to reach that dream! I also believe that it will happen, maybe not in my timing but it WILL happen!

One thing I've learned is that success is not accidental. You're not going to accidentally accomplish your dreams. You don't accidentally have good relationships. You won't accidentally lose twenty pounds. You have to have a plan. If you're going to get to the right destination, you've got to know where you’re going and how you are going to get there.

If you've ever been at the beach just floating in the water and relaxing, you'll notice that after a while, the current will take you far away. That's how it is in life, too. If you don't have clear-cut goals with a plan in place to accomplish those goals, you're not going to end up at the right place. You'll just float around in life easily distracted not knowing where you're headed.

Today, I encourage you to examine where you are in life. What are your goals? What is your plan? Maybe your first goal needs to be to make a plan. Do some research. Talk to people who have been successful at what you are trying to do. Ask the Lord to guide your steps and connect you with the right people. As you step in faith to accomplish your goals, I believe God will pour out His favor so that you can experience His supernatural blessing on everything you set your hand to.
