We all have lesson that we have learned in this journey with our MLM business....
Some are harder then others, but it is what we do with it afterwards that will either make or break us, right.
Here is a lesson that I had to learn and boy was it a hard one to swallow but it is something I needed as a business owner and something I needed to go through in order to be stronger for not only myself, as a leader but my team as well.
This is a lesson that I can pass on to encourage and inspire others to hopefully not make the same mistake I did.
Here is to learning lessons:
With me being a bit new to network marketing, being online and building a business from home I had a few insecurities.
Here I am a Successful WAHM with all the confidence to talk with other MOMS that are interested in working from home with the kiddos, but I would hit a word wall when it came to talking with Entrepreneurs and the BIG MLM networkers.
I know that the business I am in has the quality product consumers want and love, the freedom to work from home, the lucrative money that is already being made in such a short time and has a comp plan that attracts the Big hitters,
BUT I lacked the confidence to even speak or talk business with those people that see the residual side.
We hear all the time that our self imagine is a HUGE factor in who we attract to our business and this is one area I was not doing so well with.
I saw myself on a different playing field and couldn't get over it, until I fell flat on my face (isn't that sometimes has to happen) when a gentlemen that I had been networking with for over a year signed up under another distributor.
Why? Because I had not shared my business with him, he didn't even know I was building a successful team and was looking. BIG MISTAKE on my part wouldn't you say.
I had everything he was looking for...
1. A supportive and knowledgeable sponsor- thats me ;0)
2. An award winning and successful upline support
3. A comp plan that will give him the BIG BUCKS
4. A solid, debt free company that is young but successful
5. A quality product that consumers loved and not alot of competition in the industry.
BUT, I lacked the confidence to JUST ASK!
This HIT HARD and WOKE me up to the fact that I was not giving myself enough credit and didn't realize that I TOO deserve the BEST team members, even the MLM networkers that knew the HUGE potential in residual.
Did I learn my Lesson: YOU bet I did!
Jim and I still have an outstanding networking relationship and I am excited to see him apart of our team.
With him being apart of our company I now know that it is attracting both moms and entrepreneurs, and that gets me excited!
I know that both of us will continue to be very success and I am excited to learn from this valuable lesson and remember that it is okay to just ask and share what is working for you.
So please learn from my lesson and be willing and confident to share what is working and see if it something that will work for others!

Businesses offer alot - What is important to YOU?
For those of you looking into for the Right Business -
What is important to you that a business offers?
The reason I ask is I looked for almost 1 year at all kind of business and had to ask myself TONS OF ?'s, I have been blessed to have found the right one and glad I took the time to find out what I NEEDED....
Here are a few questions and aspects that I NEEDED and WANTED in a home business. I did alot of research on companies and this is what I found.....
I hope this help you ask the RIGHT questions and make sure you get into a home business that will fit you RIGHT OFF THE BAT, instead of having to go through the frustration of trying several companies. (we all know that would be hard)
1. NO HUGE START up cost/ monthly fees.
I didn't have or want to pay $100 or more a month to run a home business. Yes most companies give you product for that $100 BUT usually you can only use it YOURSELF and not sell that product for income.
**MAKE SURE TO ASK THIS... Can the product I get monthly be sold for profit?
2. I wanted to make a good % on what I sold.
If I was going to work at home I didn't want to work for NOTHING. I personally wanted a company that was going to give me at least 50% profit on the product I was selling/sharing.
*** MAKE SURE TO ASK THIS... What percentage am I making when I sell the product. 10%, 20% 50%????
This is going to be a KEY factor so you can KNOW how much you will make.
3. I wanted quality products that I could trust and believe in.
I needed a product that I enjoyed, believed in and NEW my customers would go crazy for! I believe that part of the battle in a home business is finding a product that people enjoy and WILL COME BACK FOR, so make it consumable and at a quality that is above the rest!
** MAKE SURE TO ASK YOURSELF.... Is this a product I enjoy, believe and KNOW my customers will come back for more?
lets face it we NEED our customers with out them we do not make money retailing.
4. I wanted a solid company but one that was in the begining growth. (this was important to be because I also wanted to build on my future financial freedom NOT just the current money I needed)
With the research I have done and learned the best time to get in with a company is BEFORE they reach 10,000 distributors. WHY?
Because they have not yet hit their BOOM into being a household name which means, if you want the BIG money you want to be one of the begining team leaders.
Let's be real... If you want long term financial freedom YOU should look at the resicual/team building side of any company.
BUT... Find a company that can offer you the retail side as well as the residual, so you get the best bang for your buck, time and life!
Why not make GREAT Money off the product while you are growing a team and showing others the great aspects!
** MAKE SURE TO ASK.... How many distributors does your company have? How long has it been in business? Is it apart of the BBB? Is it financially debt free?
5. Does the company offer training and support that is NEEDED to build and learn any home buisness?
Make sure that you will have the support and training you need to be successful. So many join and then just get dropped off to do things themselves.
** MAKE SURE TO ASK... What type of training do you offer? Do you have training calls during the week? Do you offer conferences?
